    In this work new biphenyl ether derivative of paracetamol were synthesized by reacting paracetamol with iodobenzene to get A1, further treated with various aldehyde to get compounds A2-A6. Lead compounds were characterized by melting point, TLC, elemental analysis, IR, 1H-NMR and mass spectral data. All the synthesized compounds were screened for in-vitro anti-inflammatory, anti-TB and anti-oxidant activity.
